We use Eventive as a POS system for our year-round theaters, and one of the the major hurdles that makes doing so complicated is the inability to open or close a shift from the Box Office app.

Our box officers have to log in on the Dashboard via the web to open a shift, then log in separately on the iPad's Box Office app to operate most of the time (because it is faster), and then return to the Dashboard to close their shift at the end of the night.

Box officers invariably forget to open or close shifts, and it makes accurate accounting very difficult.
