After they upload a file to the platform, it'd be be helpful if they could preview their film after it's been transcoded to Eventive as a form of QCing. This would give them the opportunity to catch errors that even the most astute tech director might not catch.

Happy Holidays, everyone! We're excited to announce that this feature is now available - content uploaders now have access to a "View preview" button when logged in to their Creator Hub that allows previewing an individual transcoded asset! This fully DRM-protected preview also includes captions (if uploaded), making it easy for filmmakers to QA all aspects of the playback experience.
We hope this greatly helps assuage filmmaker concerns as well as simplifies the QA pipeline! We'll be updating help articles and guides to point filmmakers to this new feature.
Again, happy holidays!

Yeah, this would be very helpful. I just realized that the only way to test a whole virtual screening is to unlock it, which incurs the 99¢ unlock fee. It's minor, but it adds up. I planned to allow filmmakers to unlock and screen their films the week before our festival begins to allow for QA, but that's also going to incur me more unlock fees.
